Thank you Universe!

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

I have decided to resurrect this website in hopes of broadening my web savviness as well as chronicle the journey. Much has happened, but today I want to focus on thanking the universe.

As an homage to Gala’s things I love Thursday, I’m going to do my own little thank you blessings list with the hopes of bringing more goodness and spreading overall goodness back to the Universe. And as a part of my personal coaching I’m receiving - it is one of my assignments.

First off, I am so grateful for my life coach Claudia.  She is really helping see the things that are holding me back from really making progress in my life.  At first it was a big risk in the financial department for me to take on this coaching partnership, but I made the adjustments and I’m doing beautifully. Each week we are tackling an emotional hurt, a belief, or general state of mind that is preventing me from reaching a lovely bliss state. Sometimes I reach stuck states and face major blockage and holdups, but I’m swiftly moving through the challenges and I’m excited for all the positive changes taking place.

Getting Healthy. In the last 4 weeks I’ve managed to gain 7lbs of muscle and lose 9lbs of fat. I’m starting to see the extra pounds melt away and seeing the real me!  After trying so hard for so long and failing, I am seeing real progress. I believe that I can be wonderfully healthy and fit.  My body is stronger than I believe it ever has been.  I’ve incorporated real food into my diet and moved away from processed and fast foods. It’s a journey and I’m continuing to learn more and more. I’ve incorporated cardio, weights, and pilates into my regimine. I’m feeling so strong!

Moving past procrastination. Man this is a hard one for me. But by implementing GTD and really thinking through the tasks and projects I have has made it much easier to move into the action stage. I’m moving beyond looking at a large list of to dos and really breaking it down into the little pieces. It’s much easier to digest the projects when you break them down into baby steps. Yesterday I had one of my best errand days ever. I cashed in some coinage, turned in milk bottles, mailed out some books, turned in a cable box, updated my property list with the assessor, got a copy of my marriage certificate and dropped of some clothing at goodwill. It was way easier than I thought it would be.  I need to keep proving to myself that it’s not that hard to get things done - then I will destroy the procrastinator gremlin for good!
