A month ago I purchased the ultimate you library,a large set of paraliminal cds that are supposed to reprogram your mind. I had read about these products before and had always been curious, but when Steve Pavlina mentioned them on his site, I decided to give it a go.
Here I am a couple weeks later and I’ve been a little haphazard in my usage of the cds. With the new behavior generator, I have tried installing “new behaviors” – I do feel strange saying it that way – it sounds rather scifi, but my first new behavior I installed was waking up at 5am on workdays. I am not a morning person. I usually wake up 20 minutes before work and that doesn’t really seem to be working for me. After one session I woke up at 5 every morning for the entire work week and then 2 days the next week. It seems as though it worked rather effectively and then wore off. Another 20 minute session and I should be back on track.
Another cd I’ve used frequently is Getting Around To It. Amongst my biggest weaknesses is procrastination. I have tried multiple times applying GTD to my life. I’ve never made it very far – a couple days, but when I was actively practicing it I felt extremely productive. I want to get back there and I want to do it religiously. This cd has not worked as well as I would have liked. I’m not running around the house doing manic cleaning sessions or anything – but I have noticed less resistance in completing tasks I’m not so happy about working on or completing.
So in order to really get this metamorphing party started, I need some new compelling beliefs that will really push me an compel me to keep striving for more. I will be using the Belief paraliminal to install the following beliefs:
- I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.
- I am always excited and passionate about starting a new day.
- I am an organized and efficient person and I have a clean and organized home.
- The law of attraction is real. I can create day, life, and world.
- I maximize my time and energy with a deep restful 4 hour sleep every evening. I only need 4 hours of sleep a day to be fully energized and restored.
I think these beliefs will build a good foundation for success and will strengthen my ability to reach my most important goals.
